The base plan is at $0 a month.

For online you need to buy a normal plan $10/$12/$14/$15/etc... then cancel the recurring payment via 1693 to enjoy the base plan at $0 a month...

or you can buy at local ah beng shop since it doesn't have recurring payment... so the $0 plan will be used when you don't have a plan..

If you have been reading the FAQs in their website, almost of all their FAQs were updated in the last 2 days, 7 days, etc.

Don't create unnecessary panic lah. There had been rumours for so long / many years that they were going to discontinue the $0 plan already.

Ahahaha didn't know that.

True, I know they've stopped offering the free plan easily online (didn't know about workaround above) for quite sometime now and they also mentioned in the past they'll go as far as cancelling inactive plans, but it looks like they're still keeping us grandfathered in.

So hopefully many more years to come!

successfully ported my line from myRepublic 5G to Circles, their email and app don't actually reflect the $10/$15 monthly rate under Plan, had to confirm via Live Chat with customer service.

At least there's an option to move to 40GB @$9/mth instead which is pretty similar deal to the previous 50GB @ $5/mth.
Unfortunate but expected that all good things do come to an end...

I got the same email also, now that I thinking if it's referring to the $0 plan or the $5 plan that is ending..

I would presume that its likely to be the $0/mth plan, shall check w CL.

Email upgrade link is for 4G-40GB, 300mins, 25sms @ $9/mth.

Edit: Okay, verified with CL and its for both the $5/mth & $0/mth plan.

I also received the same email, and just now received email that my Plan$0 was upgraded to Plan$9 but I did not sign up for the upgrade.

So it’s not ending in Jan but the promo for the $9 is ending in Jan.
So still can continue to use.

I did ask if no action taken, what plan will it be defaulted to when the $5 plan is ended. They haven’t reply to me yet.

I believe there's no answers yet since there's none as per their FAQ too.
So its literally CL baiting users to quickly secure the 40GB @ $9/mth instead for those that worry on receiving poorer deals in future.

if really no more, maybe consider maxx, they have a $0 base plan after buying a offline plan
