Hi, anybody know how the new payg roaming works?
iI roamed in Malaysia and received an sms that I incurred a $10 payg and have 1GB to use. So no more pro-rate charges if I use less than 1GB? How long does that 1GB lasts? Already contacted them through the app chat but they cannot give answer right away. Maybe somebody here has experience.

Hi bros, just signed up circles life eSIM plan. I realise my iPhone keeps connecting to the wireless sgx network automatically and there is no forget network option. It keeps connecting without my input. Any idea how to disable or delete the wireless sg profile altogether? Couldn’t find the profile in my iPhone settings as well

Hmm cannot. When I tap into the “i” when the phone is connected to wireless sgx, there is only an option to disable Auto Join. But even if I disable that, when I off and on my wifi, once the phone detect wireless sgx, it will connect again. Am I the only one facing this issue? Do you encounter similar instances of auto connecting to wireless sgx?

Go to settings > general > VPN & device management > under configuration profiles you should see Wireless@SGx, click on it and tap remove profile.

Also you can go to settings > mobile service > scroll to Wi-Fi assist and set it to on if it isn’t already on. This will allow your phone to prioritise using cellular data over Wi-Fi connection especially when the Wi-Fi connectivity is poor/weak.

Already tried. There’s no forget network option. No wifi profile. Even if I turn off auto join, when I get to another spot with wireless sg, it will auto connect again. A bit irritating.

Think your only option is to reset network settings.

I also have this profile when using Singtel SIM. I disable auto join and so far it did not join any wireless@sgx. It will revert back to auto join if you connect to this wifi profile. So far, i think there is no way to remove as i believe it is dependent on SIM card.

M1 just raised their data passport charge (I go jb quite often and M1's 10gb passport is by far one of the more sufficient roaming options) and I'm paying about $40 per month.

If there are other comparable roaming plans to this do let me know thank you!

Cheaper to get a Hotlink prepaid if you need more than 1GB and a SG SIM. Or just wack a ZYM 12 months 2GB roaming for $10

unless you go Msia, taiwan, hk, indo, and thailand for the month (ex, pilot, steward/ess, biz man), else, it's as good as useless.

buying separate esim still cheaper for travel purpose..

If you have been reading the FAQs in their website, almost of all their FAQs were updated in the last 2 days, 7 days, etc.

Don't create unnecessary panic lah. There had been rumours for so long / many years that they were going to discontinue the $0 plan already.
