Circles life 5G is now available for esim too. Just turned on and working pretty fast at 500mbps at Bukit Panjang.

It's a worse deal than M1 though. M1 has 100GB + unlimited weekend for $5 less than Circles. Their eSIM support is terrible though like you said.

Oh ya it’s worse for sure. But I’m betting that it’s just M1 being damn slow at updating their systems and CS to let them know that sign ups can get 5G esim.

I’ll just trial circles life 5G for the first free month and after that switch to M1 once they fix it.

Pixel 7 is activated on M1 5G, but not sure if it's activated for eSIM.

Did you enable SA Mode? Is your device SA compatible?

Go to phone dialer, enter in *#*#SAMODE#*#* to disable Standalone Access check.

Then go into device's settings -> mobile networks -> advanced settings -> 5G SA Mode on

Yes my phone support sa mode and yes it is on.

Phone works with 5g, just that when i go to places with 4g and back to the same place with 5g it wont switch back. Always have to manually on airplane mode to switch it back on.

Ya it's like that, early 5G phones only scan for 5G every 10-15 minutes.

Shouldn't be that case, mine not the 1st gen product already. Snapdragon 870 2nd gen product, anyways mine after 30 mins or more also didn't recover. So definitely circles or poco f4 firmware having issues. The previous 5g to 4g drop connection, circles seems to have solved it. Left this 4g wont go back to 5g issue.

Still very problematic. I'm using a 4th gen 5G product (SD888) and scanning is quite infrequent for me also.

Then again, hear before Xiaomi blaming M1 for the connectivity issue, as they had to trick the F3 to report as "Xiaomi Mi 12" to connect back to M1 5G.

So not very sure which is which at this point.

Interesting, ya hard to point finger at who is at fault.

I recently switched to esims with my circles life plan as my physical sim does not support 5G. I never had problems using its roaming service in Malaysia (voice, sms, data) with the physical sim card before but with the esim, when I was in Malaysia for CNY, network connection to Circles.Life's roaming partner there was problematic, connection to 4G data was unstable, I have to keep on switching mode on and off to reconnect and voice and sms didn't work at all. I contacted Circles.Life and was given bunch of instructions which I followed and problems persisted. Did anyone have the same problem roaming with esims in Malaysia? I am using a samsung phone.

I switched mine from 4G SIM to 5G SIM, also faced similar issue. Both Physical SIM.

Connected to MY CELCOM for a few seconds, then network died. Airplane mode, situation repeats. Did it a total of 6 times, from then on no more service at all.

It can't be MY CELCOM issue, I'm using SIMBA Roaming right beside and was surfing the web just fine during the trip.

Both SIMBA and M1 have Celcom as the preferred partner in Malaysia.
