how to 1 person win 2-3 times? haha can 1 person have more than 1 membership

I am also puzzled by it but from the terms and conditions is possible:

7 . There is no limit to the number of Prizes that a Cardmember can win during the Promotion. A Cardmember that has won a Prize in an earlier 7‐day period will still be eligible to win a Prize in a subsequent 7‐day period.

Lol, thanks to your posts, I'd be using Citi Pay now, however, multiple tries recently and all failed.

could it be your phone's NFC malfunctioning? If CitiPay not working, is android pay working?

Don't think has anything to do with my phone. Just tried this morning. CitiPay cannot, but Samsung Pay can (both using paywave only with Citibank cards, though using different cards). Will try Citi Pay again on the card that worked on Samsung Pay, hope it is not the issue of the dynamic CVV again.

Editted: running on Android 6.0.1, S7 latest update.

Can someone post a link the CitiPay SG app .apk file?

The thing is that my phone runs Android 6.1, is not rooted or any such thing, has NFC and I have used it in the past for EZ Link via NFC topup as well as Google Play. So I know that NFC works. I bought my phone outside Singapore, and Google Play Store says that the CitiPay SG app is "not available in my country". Which is rubbish, and my Google account now has my Singapore location as well.

So I can try to side-load the CitiPay SG app on my phone and I suspect it will work fine. But for that I need one of the members here to generate the .apk off their phone and then post a link to it somewhere. Generating the .apk is easy, there are tons of apps in Google Play that do this. There is no security issue whatsoever.

If someone is willing to help out, please get in touch.

Do you mean a different Citibank credit card? or SIM card? But either way, how would that matter. The Google Play Store will not let me install the app on my phone itself saying that the app is incompatible with my phone. Which is not true of course because my phone meets all of Citibank's stated requirements. The issue seems to be that Google Play thinks my phone is located outside of Singapore, or some such thing.

In any case if any user here can just create the .apk file of the app and then send me a dropbox or other link, I'll be most grateful.

I had the same problem with the app "not available for your country". My phone was bought in Singapore but my original Google account was set up in the US. Here's what I had to do to make it work:

  • Log into https://payments.google.com
  • Under Payment Methods, make sure your Google Play balance is less than $10. (It gets deactivated when you change country and reactivated when you change back to US)
  • Under Payment Methods, delete any credit cards with a US address. Before doing that, I had to change one of my subscriptions under "Subscriptions and services" from my US credit card to my SG credit card.
  • Under Settings, change country to Singapore. Set Name and Address to a Singapore address.

On my phone, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and delete data and cache for Google Play Services.
On my phone, go to Settings > Storage > Internal Storage > Cached Data and press OK to clear cached data for all apps.

Relaunch Play Store and Citi Pay was available to install.

Update: Tried on my PM card and citipay works!

Called in and ask them to reset the dynamic CVV for the rewards card (similar thing happened to me on Samsung Pay). Though customer service says there is no lock on my dynamic CVV.

Re-add the card to Citi Pay (after the CVV reset) and it works!
