wonder if my calculation is correct
assuming 1 citi mile = 0.02c

if i made a payall to myself of $1000
i can get 1200 miles on premiermiles
3250 points on prestige card

$20 service fee for both cards

for premier miles card, i will get $24 worth of miles
for prestige card, 3250 / 2.5 * 0.02 = $26

assuming that i like miles and i don't mind the service fee
wouldn't this be a terrific deal? or is my calculation wrong

You run the risk of Citi discovering that and losing relationship and removing all your points

It needs to be a legit bill. Otherwise no, there's nothing wrong with your calculations.

Bruh...

its not worth to exploit this, you end up with losing more than earn. Might get into legal case if serious and got jailed unless you are FT.
why not just legitly pay all your bill with citi pay all if you looking to buy miles.

Hello all, possible to advise for Citi Payall, I will need to use the service to "pay" the bill, rather than have the bill charged to the card which I would like to pay with, is that right?
[Edit: Means i cannot use standing giro arrangement? And have to wait for the bill to be due, then i can pay using the service.]

Thanks for the answer! I was more concerned about the standing giro portion (being inherently lazy) as i normally setup standing arrangment for my annual bills to be charged to the credit card.

In order to use Citi PayAll (and thus, gain the miles/rewards), the bill that i am paying cannot be charged to the card yes? I have to use the App to pay using Citi PayAll to pay the bill instead correct?

Citibank doesn't care whether your bill is charged. If you pay using Payall and the bill is still charged then you have just made double payment. Just cancel the bill payment charged to card and pay using citibank payall to get the rewards.

Sort of like short term 50+ days interest free loan. Cash also generate some interest in your savings account.
so for this, can "pay" ownself and then put in account like ocbc360 to get additional interest before putting cash back to pay the citipayall

is it worth it to do this and violate citi's t&c for a few bucks of interest ?

Hi All, Milelion has done an article in which he mention the T&C exclusively says

https://milelion.com/2023/02/23/sur...-for-prestige-limo-rides-and-sign-up-bonuses/
https://www.citibank.com.sg/credit-...ibank-payall-service-terms-and-conditions.pdf

(b) send money to yourself or recipients who have not provided you with goods or services (unless expressly allowed by us);
(c) provide yourself or any other party a cash advance from your card (or help other parties to do so);

So using this for cash advance goes directly against what they have stated. Hence this is more risky method compared to using Grab to send back to bank.

I will use this to pay my rent, since that is explicitly allowed. But my daughter's school fees is via Giro from my account. I dont think I can use it PayAll for this right?
