Bike coe increase by 250% over the last 2 years. LOL maybe the cars buyers are happy to pay 60k paper anyway though.

Here we go again. Will the huge backlog of buyers decide to wait till may onwards?

If you still have car.
Just hold.
If you can live without a car.
Just wait.

This will help the situation. Else Singaporeans will have to pay that extra premium to drive a car.

This systems makes the traffic in Singapore manageable. We just have to respect and live with it.

All the best to car owners and want to be car owners.

same adviced was given to those intending to buy in 2014, where even ministars came out to say a huge quota was expected in early 2015.

indeed many waited n waited, and when the substantial CNY15 dropped in in COE prices, this same pent-up demand group went out to buy n buy.
Causing a super HUGE surged in buyers/bidders after the CNY15.

the same thing will happen in July15? when this group waited from now till July for the price to drop. Then Wham Bam, all will surged to buy when the COE prices dropped in June.

the wild swings will be the end result when everyone wait n wait, and then suddenly saw the opportunity to go in at low prices.

There is afew group of buyers.
1st group. Cannot wait. (Any price also buy )
2nd group ($60k)
3rd group ($50k)
It depends what price you are comfortable with.

Remember, those who have bought will not buy until 3years later. But now backlog is super long.

I guess
demand is too big.
Supply is too low.

Those hoping for cheap COE can forget about this.

there is another group, those who bought 2nd hand cars with coe left 2 to 3 yrs.
these ppl r also waiting to go in from now till 2018.
with such demand there is little room for coe to drop whether gahmen loosen the supply or not.
