since when the final price ish decided at this hour ?

every time the bid price started to jump when nearest to the closing time. Dealers will upload all their bid in the last few minutes will high price, afterall, it ish buyer's money.

LTA should disallow dealer bid COE on customer's behalf. Allowing car dealers to bid for COE as good as allowing cartel operation in Sg.

Why are we so pertatic?
Have to wish coe price to fall....
If only all of us are rich.
Just walk into showroom and offer full cash payment and demand to drive away the car immediately.

Wouldn't this be cool!

You want COE to drop, stop allowing people to finance COE with loan.

You cannot pay tax with credit card, stamp duty with home loan, you shouldn't be able to pay COE with loan.

But it also won't drop.
The 1% of people who can afford cars with Cash will just buy with cash.
The COE will still remain high.

Frankly, from all that I'm looking at, the idea of supply and demand doesn't seems to work for COE.
Because it's heavily controlled by the car dealers. The car dealers will just bid at example say 65K even if there's only 2 person buying cars, then when COE closes, the bid will just end at 65k.

but in a way.. isn't it because people are willing or unwillingly ok to pay 65k COE that dealers bid so high?

we pawned ourselves..

I notice the numbers bids for cars is 20% lesser. This may be good news. Then buyers is getting lesser. Maybe 1 to 2 months time, price will drop $5k overall before the next wave of kanjeong spider rush in.
