Those cars registered in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 when the coe were relatively cheap are due for scrap from now to the next few years. And they make up a huge number. So there is going to be an over supply of coe when they are recycle in the next few quarters. If can you afford to wait you should see lower coe prices.

This week car dealers are fulling those with bought with $70K COE 6 bids ago. So they have no prob bidding up to $65K and make their extra $5K profit. Once these $70K COE are done with, expect COE to drop by $10K, as they start to buy for the $60K COE ppl (now). By then the dealers will bid up to $55K; and still make that extra $5K.

Overall, price drop by about 2%. We might see COE at 55k in july :)

The loan is not that friendly nowadays.

There are pple who aren't so willing to part with so much money at one go to buy their next car.....so if you ask me, yes prices will probably tumble.

I hope so. I wanted to buy 2nd hand car. Went to carmart. All dealers very aggresive to close sales.
some are stuck with old stocks.
