That's right. In begin of 2018. Most people predict COE raise during motor show but it turn up other way. Lots a people gotten car 2 to 3K more during show vs those booked after show.

Different saying for jan 1st bidding

Coe may go up because
- 3 weeks gap

Coe may go down because
- coe just went up
- waiting for motorshow

most were probably eyeing the Cerato.

From what i see, it is hyundai and kia supporting next round. Kia seems to be suppressing their cerato price due to avante.

Toyota and honda prices dont look attractive currently after latest hike. Mazda 3 no more.

So what are your predictions for jan 1st bidding which is 3 weeks from previous round?

Feb-apr quota per bidding is roughly 100 less than nov-jan. ~1710 vs 1816

So in terms of quota, it has peaked in nov-jan.

2 more biddings in jan. Can it break a new low in jan 2nd bidding - lower than 23568?

Actually show or not has no significant impact. The biggest impact is still price. If price went up previously, there will be less buyers. That was what happened during motorshow 2018 period.
