Mine also 2004 urvan. Just a night b4 the CNY, made 5 fully loaded trips between woodlands and bedok plus a few others places. However urvan has slow pick up and if you don't mind driving within the speed limit it should serve you well.

If you really want to buy then the advise is to check how many parts has the previous owner changed. By the 9th year I had to change many engine parts and suspension liao

Used car dealer don't keep such record.

Even my ex company lorry also never keep track on parts replacement.

This is bad advice in business sense. You are unable to apply tax deductible on private vehicle expenses.

Eh, maybe can ask more b4 deciding to buy. To allow the van to last, its better to go back to Nissan Autolution for servicing. More ex, no doubt but at least you won't have any serious issues when you are traveling outside. There's once i have difficulty to start my van and they really push my van from the 1st floor all the way to the 3d floor to repair for me:eek:

Agree. Furthermore if TP sees a car used to load up so many things, they won't stop the car meh?

I am aware of this issue. Here in Singapore, whatever is tax-deductible or not, is spelt out here

The most important thing about a business is whether you are making a profit, and how fast you are able to realise that profit after sinking in the costs.

Good business sense is about turning a profit. Things like using a G-plate or S-plate van all depends on suitability. It all boils down to whether you make more going down this path or that. Nothing in business is straight-forward. Bear in mind that the tax-deductible list mostly applies to companies. It does not apply to freelancers and many small businesses.

There are tao kays who spend their days thinking all ways to keng PIC and how to recover GST even from their own S-plated continental car.

There are also those who dont focus so much on these because the savings is insignificant compared to the profits.

Some like to spend their time thinking how to save and cut expenses. Others like to invest time finding ways to earn even more. These behaviours are a result of different personalities. Everyone got their own unique genetic makeup and are inclined to do different stuff. People find pleasure and pain from an almost infinite variety of stuff. Most important thing is that you are happy doing it right? You saved and felt good? Awesome. Another made big bucks and felt equally good. Awesome too.

And it is all about proportion. A meaningful sum of money to one person can be meaningless and worthless to another.

The most important question in business is always - got profit or not after all the effort?

I saw them paste this van photo on many coffee shop tables since 1-2 years ago. Until today I have not seen one otr before.
