RX100 VII or A6400 or A6500?

but i am a nb for SDLR


if i get RX100 VII,
i will sell away my panasonic t90 as i use tht one for long zoom video only (like concert), it is very terrible for low light.

want a gd night shot for travel..

A6400 (APS-C sensor)

LUMIX Digital Camera DC-LX100M2 (4/3-inch)
Olympus PEN E-PL9 (4/3-inch) use mov format

RX100 VII (1.0 SENSOR)

This Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ220 is also quite good and half the price of RX100 VII.

alternatively, you can go with the cheaper LX7 2nd hand set.

is the night shot gd?? because not all are gd in low light; night

but i google on this.. zoom look gd and SENSOR is 1.0 but 4/3-inch will be better

the zoom is not gd 24-72mm (35mm Equivalent)

since you are already on the panny OS, can consider LX10.
alternatively, you can go with the cheaper LX7 2nd hand set.

Rx100 very expensive but for super noob is OK. However if u have a little understanding abt how aperture, iso or shuttles speed works then 6k mirrorless series especially 6000 is a nice small camera with ability of dslr given the right lens.

It's way worth it and much cheaper for doing the same or in most times take better pic.

dont say abt right lens. I use the basic lens.

The Sony RX100 VII is 24-200mm equivalent F2.8-4.5. The lens retracts into the body.

Comparatively, for the A6x00, the closest lens should be the 18-135.
The weight of the lens alone is already heavier than the RX100 VII.

If video is important, specs for battery life for continuous video recording
RX100 VII -70 mins
A6400 - 125 mins

IMHO.
The auto mode should be there for both the compact and mirrorless - in fact for most if not all cameras.

I would say, to me, the biggest (and quite important) difference would be the way the image gets composed. The zooming is usually done by push or rotate action on a button, dial or lever. On the interchangeable lens, the same is usually by rotation making image composition faster.

When I am use my DSLR, as I move the camera up from below my chest to my eye level, I can use my index finger to turn the camera on. While I look into the viewfinder, my left hand would be rotating the zoom ring to compose the image. Then, it is a matter of focus and shoot. All these are done in a matter of moments.

Of course, it is not without hassles !

You will need more range for event. 1" sensor normally can handle low light performance well. This one impresses me a lot for its price versus performance.

Check out fujfilm x100v ... if too pricy try x100f
