in the news, they say becos of AI, employment is hard for young graduates. so they use this as an excuse to create more internships for young graduates in the name of helping them due to AI creating less jobs. so they dun recruit them as full time staff but interns

The outcome is correct but the way you put it is incorrect. They simply do not need to give any excuses to you or anyone to not hiring permanent staffs. They don't owe you or anyone any excuses for hiring whichever type of workers. That's the truth before AI was here.

in my perspective, the way i put it is correct because i am assuming it is an excuse used by them which is the truth. however i respect your perspective that you view it another way which can also be correct. no one is correct or incorrect

Companies simply do not owe us any explanation. It's their business decisions. They are not charity organizations.

this is why countries that are very old they raise taxes to very high
cos new developments will make jobs redundant... and ppl will be displaced from jobs...
if not handled well in another 5 years all grab drivers all nowhere to work see how high our taxes will be just to support the entire economy
Its ok one no ? old people like to raise their house pricing, and , in turn everyone plays the same game,

lets see who win lor,

Wongs era of people really got even worse brain rot from the lack of control , GCT aside from those saying its an asset,

good luck to worlds number 1 purging of locals.

and you dont need to use statistics , just the number of non locals is enough to see this probem for the past 10 years.

My guess how it will play out. In the end, there will be protests around the world. Like what is happening in Milan and France now. Governments will be overthrown. Rich cannot get richer as there is not enough money to go around in the economy due to high unemployment rates even though they might initially benefit from it. Governments will have to come up with laws to curb AI usage to only certain sectors to reset the world economy back to default.

bro, i share the same sentiments with you. the profit from AI can only be temporary. as illustrated in the circular flow of income, once unemployment hits many people and they are unable to spend, it will impact the rich. the rich may has seen this coming, but the greed and fear of missing out makes them continue to leech the system. if i dun leech others will mentality. so end up human will suffer in the long run.

Circular Flow of Income, a core model in macroeconomics that demonstrates how money, goods, and services move continuously between different sectors of an economy. If consumers (households) are removed from this loop, the entire economic cycle instantly collapses.

If AI really results in high unemployment around the world, I forsee a lot of bloodshed needed to reset the world economy. Look at France and Milan now. Imagine when AI results in massive unemployment. The current protests in those countries is just a rehearsel of things to come.

AI will make everything more expensive, not cheaper
Yes. There is the "AI spiral" going on.
Especially prevalent in investigative journalism.
The more information there is the churn the more hours need to verify.
AI just crunch figures and present nia. Without fact checking manually, can 100% believe AI's
sources if come from dubious sources. Need to trace to the root.
Last time it wasnt a problem cause by analysing first or second level sources good enough
to present liao. Now ppl not stupid.
With good enough grasp on using prompts, one experienced personnel can fact check
information real fast. And such journalists are not cheap.
Of cos there are market for just summarised news.
But to get in depth analysis and data sources need investment de.
It takes just a wrong data source and the credibility of the news channels gets affected.
We havent even started on fake news generated by AI yet.
So the more AI is deployed, the more expensive verification gets.
