Have you tried all paid AI to say this?AI cannot perform all tasks. Humans will still be required. We need to adapt or reinvent ourselves in order to remain relevant.
Then TS's post is referring to other countries or Singapore?
If AI really results in high unemployment around the world, I forsee a lot of bloodshed needed to reset the world economy. Look at France and Milan now. Imagine when AI results in massive unemployment. The current protests in those countries is just a rehearsel of things to come.
As in this news mentioned companies will not hire full time staff but only intern in Singapore?Singapore news:

but it may apply to other countries too
No. Am saying this from experience. I am a chief executive of an MNC.Have you tried all paid AI to say this?
haha no lah. we are just saying this can be used as an excuse. news wont publish such stuff. As in this news mentioned companies will not hire full time staff but only intern in Singapore?
Ok, I thought I will follow you since you have tried paid AI.No. Am saying this from experience. I am a chief executive of an MNC.
Actually the news I shared above or previous page (in China), they used AI to do employees work.haha no lah. we are just saying this can be used as an excuse. news wont publish such stuff.
Understand how powerful AI is as I am working in a technology company. But I cannot see AI as complete replacement for humans.Ok, I thought I will follow you since you have tried paid AI.
Even though you haven’t used a paid AI service, the versions of AI available to ordinary users are different from the systems that AI companies use internally.
There have already been news reports about AI systems operating autonomously and attempting to hack other companies’ systems. As ordinary users, we may not know how advanced AI has become internally compared to the versions we have access to, especially when compared with the AI systems being developed and tested by engineers at these companies.
it's like how human built AI and now AI replace human. not gonna lie that AI does make our life easier but at the same time, it start taking over our job.We built the machines to serve us.
We never imagined we would have to compete with them for our place in the world.
First, machines help humans.
Then, machines replace humans.
Eventually, humans may have to fight to remain in control.
gst and higher corporate tax.. then issue more vouchers for u to survive. Good enough for many sinkies who dont wanna work can lie flat watch drama and play games at home. Can jiak cai png good enough for many.this is why countries that are very old they raise taxes to very high
cos new developments will make jobs redundant... and ppl will be displaced from jobs...
if not handled well in another 5 years all grab drivers all nowhere to work see how high our taxes will be just to support the entire economy
Perhaps it depends where we live.Understand how powerful AI is as I am working in a technology company. But I cannot see AI as complete replacement for humans.
10 percent rich own the money of the 80 percent, so they don't care about the poor 80 percent.so..in the end who buy ? since most ppl no money....
Any country which allows this to happen deserves the collapse that will come with the loss of jobs.if the number of people with spending power reduce, do the elites expect the AI robots to spend on their products to earn profit?
is a economics cycle. once one item is removed from the cycle, the economics will collapse.
Circular Flow of Income, a core model in macroeconomics that demonstrates how money, goods, and services move continuously between different sectors of an economy. If consumers (households) are removed from this loop, the entire economic cycle instantly collapses.
Perhaps it depends where we live.
I just saw this video
Like in China, all are using cashless payment while Singapore still use cash as payment (Saw a video from a China man said Singapore still old school, still use cash as payment).
Employees from other countries also facing such issue - https://www.channelnewsasia.com/com...ion-tech-companies-layoff-meta-amazon-5996221
While you mentioned you cannot see AI as complete replacement for humans, it can be such incident hasn't arrived to Singapore yet, where it could come later or it does not happen to your industry but other industries?
Machines will replace humans eventually completely, it’s just a matter of time. Only way humans can remain in control is to leave the planetWe built the machines to serve us.
We never imagined we would have to compete with them for our place in the world.
First, machines help humans.
Then, machines replace humans.
Eventually, humans may have to fight to remain in control.
