Roaming service is important becos need to receive OTP for free etc. from bank which almost all telcos support. Only different is how many roaming countries supported too. GOMO and Giga both only support incoming SMS while roaming and roaming countries supported are limited.

Actually roaming outgoing SMS and incoming calls are not important since most people do not send SMS nowadays and most people will not answer calls while roaming especially they can tell who is calling.

However, roaming incoming SMS and outgoing calls are important. incoming SMS is becos need to receive OTP from banks. Outgoing calls is for urgency purpose while in overseas especially in the event that is no Internet access.

Yeah I am also on Circles life $7 plan. Latest bill is $7 nett including GST. This is something surprising.

Initially when switch from Singtel and Starhub to Circles life, I am worrying if Circles life has full support of the auto roaming (SMS and voice) becos to receive SMS for OTP or receiving calls or making calls (urgent) is important to me. Glad that Circles life has fully support it and the countries supported for auto roaming is full list supported by M1 which it has no different comparing to the three MNPs inlike Giga or Gomo only has partial support even counties supported only 40++.

Exactly meet my need as I worked oversea 5 yrs paying 15dollar per mth for receive otp only.
Is this 7dollar plan still available now? Trying to port in from Starhub these 2 days as I back oversea after cny. Thanks Pal

Only one day offer on double eleven. Wait for this year one if there is even any. Anyway it is only one year offer. Dun think it is going to help you much. $15 per month is reasonable.

Like this ah, maybe this time I port to giga $10 plan as it support otp sms oversea, Outgoing sms and calls not a issue for me as always.
Any other telecom plan so far in market meets my above need? Just back SG, lost contact of Sg market quite long already.

Is Giga or Gomo better? Giga is cheaper by 2 dollars for 20GB plan only. If Singtel's connectivity is much better, I think it's reasonable to pay 2 dollars more.

Depend on your usage areas. I haven't had issue with giga in my area of usage.

If you have always felt comfortable with ST network by all means go with gomo

I use giga. Haven't had any problems with connectivity.

Anyway you can also easily port out from either as there's no contract.

I think giga $10 is the lowest cost plan you can use that has incoming sms when roaming in another country. As far as I know, no registration fee, only $2 sim delivery

Yes, when I wanted to port out of Giga to Singtel, the officer told me no over the phone.

But at the roadshow, it was no problem as they indicated it as a Starhub number, and ported it out.

I tested Giga for 6 weeks before porting over my M1 number. Connectivity OK.

I now use Giga $10 plan with TPG. When TPG lose signal underground on MRT, I switch to Giga. No problem with Giga connectivity whenever needed. So I don't use up all my Giga 5GB data and happily roll over unused data to next month.

Is it worth to switch to Giga $10? Currently on Gomo but not fully utilising the package.

You have to gauge base on your usage. I myself was on giga $25, switched to the $18 plan as I couldn't utilise 25gb at all.

But I didn't go for the $10 as 5gb too little for me.

Will take that into consideration. Thanks for the input.
