Which postpaid sim or prepaid sim that is cheapopo and once data bundle finished internet stop, that will not be pay as you use? I want to use for mobile internet usb tethering. When data bundle exhausted, internet stop. Need to manually buy add on data or data bundle to continue internet can use?
IMHO.
I using M1 Maxx and Heya 4G. They are 30 day plans.
I have one M1 Maxx that is 30-day expired and waiting for top-up.
The Heya 4G now ported to Singtel Hi! - if they work the same, should be the same as the M1 Maxx just that you need to do the next top-up within 30 days from the expiry.
Prepaids are a bit complicated for me. :ROFLMAO:

P.S. My M1 Maxx, perhaps because it is manual top-up, they sent me an SMS saying that i will get a bonus of 500GB if i top up this month. (y)

Still got plan that after data bundle finished still got basic internet or not? Is it unlimited and/or is there fair play usage per day?

Haha, probably M1 Maxx got too many base plan users who do not pay. :ROFLMAO:
IMHO.
It is a hassle to do top up but the extra 500GB makes it worth the effort.

IMHO.
M1 Maxx gives 10 mins of talk time, 50 SMSes and 0.2GB data - monthly reset.

1. Example SIM Only plans with severely throttled speed after finishing the local data bundle.

1) Myrepublic
https://support.myrepublic.net/en/a...after-i-have-fully-utilised-my-data-allowance

2) redONE (512 Kbps)
https://redonemobile.com.sg/fair-usage-policy

2. Even for those SIM Only plans with very high or unlimited local data, fair usage policy may apply.

Not really a hassle if you want to keep using M1 Maxx -- just enable auto recharge with a credit card.

However, many M1 Maxx users here only pay a few times and want to keep it for parking purpose.

IMHO.
True. But for low needs and parking, it is great.

It is too great to make any business sense for M1...

I tend to believe this M1 Maxx Base plan will be changed or even gone after the merger with SIMBA.

Potential change: plan will be suspended or cancelled after 60 days of no top-up.

Take note SIMBA grace period is only 30 days.

Actually that is M1 Maxx Base plan (after you stop top-up) entitlement, not really for excess data usage.
Whether buying any plan or not, the Base Plan always coexists alongside, that is, when purchased plan bundle use up, it will use Base Plan data, call and SMS.

Anyone encountered SingTel requires a deposit to subscribe to its mobile line? I tried online application but the system rejected it.

Then, chatted the with CSO & she said need to go shop to apply and make a deposit. I’ve been always using a credit card to auto deduct monthly subscription from all telcos, including, SingTel back in 2020.
I heard about this but from a friend trying to sign up on MyRepublic.

That's why I have 2 SIM cards on the same device that are different networks. Redundancy :ROFLMAO:
Incidentally, was with a friend earlier on when he's making a call from a Simba line, with phone data set to Eight 5G. Somewhere during the call, noticed the Eight connection disappeared when call quality dropped to next to nothing. Opposite party tried calling back but couldn't.

Not sure what went wrong. Would setting the option to allow data switching help?
