many entitled teen cyclists these days. last year my wife told a si ginnna that he shouldn’t cycle so fast with a skate board lying horizontally on his lap on a narrow pavement, was so narrow that she has to turn sideway to avoid getting hit. He still had the cheek to turn around and argue with her. Hopeless generation

Think many, if not most people, if got observed, tend don't walk in straight line one. Tend sway from left to right right to left abit, don't know which direction they going to take, until the last minute then change direction.

So, its better to always give them a ring when coming up from behind to pass them, when gap is not wide enough to avoid them in their moment of craziness.
Why not keep safety distance and not try to overtake? Cyclists rushing to reincarnate?

Why cannot overtake. The path so wide. The grandfather path ah. Like that other pedestrains cannot overtake also ah.

Think if not too bias, may realised that most of the time the path is safe to use for many people at the same time one. Problem is many like to walk like its their grandfather road and walk like a crab, side to side. Making the path 'unsafe' for others, even other pedestrians.

Worse are those on phone. They are almost oblivious to other people or surrounding environment most of the time. Just yesterday got saw a man who was totally engrossed with the phone, head all the way down walkling from pedestrian path to crossing the road without lifting the head up to look out for traffic even for a moment.

And just happened a vehicle was coming up to the man. The driver have the good sense to horn the man to wake up the idea. And for a moment there, the man was stunned frozen in the middle of the road after realising didn't look out for oncoming vehicle.

Lucky its was a smaller road with little vehicles. If main road, think the ending could have been much different. Most people should really think twice about using the phone while walking. Especially when near the road or using the road. They are more likely to be a walking accident waiting to happen.

If accidentally knocked the old lady down just help her up, apologize and ask if she's ok. Is that so hard? I'm sure most people are reasonable. Still remain on the bike and argue.. xia lan kia 没家教。

When there is an intent to overtake cyclists will not care about the safety of others? Then on the road why motorist need to care about cyclists? Also just overtake, knock down 1 cyclist and life goes on KYM? Cyclists knock down pedestrians is always cyclists wrong like vehicles knock down cyclists on the road.

Think the verdict is still open. No detail of what really happened. Only assumption and accusation, with many auto fill in the blank, given their bias.

Don't know why the facial expression and hand gesture looks like the boy was stunned as if like asking what the heck happen, didn't do anything.
