Someone pls report police. That fcker cyclist assaulted the pedestrian for no reason. Cyclist supposed to dismount and push the bicycle at crossings. Knn he still can blame the pedestrian

Don't forget many cctv cameras around us, not difficult to identify someone. The pedestrian should go ahead to make a police report of been hit by the cyclist.

few months back, there was a similar incident involving a cyclist & a teenager

latter was hit on the head, while in the midst of crossing the pedestrian crossing

since then, like not much updated news on it

I have 3 experiences at mrt station walking straight. Some people coming in my direction staring at the phone and just bump into me. They don't look at surrounding. And once, I was walking behind a guy at the busy peak hours. He walk and then ebrake to check his phone right in the middle of the way

Alot of this kind of people. They tend sway left and right people don't know where to siam them. Reason they are not knocked into is most pedestrians tend siam them. Not because they are not a risk. But with moving vehicle its more difficult to predict and react. Thus, likelihood of being hit is higher.

As for those that stop in the middle of walking to do whatever they want to do. Alot of such also. They tend don't have much commonsense. Often is stopped in the middle of entrance or in front of escalator where alot of people moving in and out. Its more difficult for pedestrian to avoid, cause moving with limited space to siam.
