If Hezbollah is sufficiently weakened, this can actually prevent further escalation once Hezbollah realizes that their fighting force is in taters.

If you consider that this attack was bound to happen after so much indiscriminate rocket firing from Hezbollah though, civilian may finally benefit with the removal of this terrorist power and the Lebanon government can finally be allowed to properly govern the country without need to pander to Hezbollah and their destructive ways. This is also similar to Gaza

Lebanon does have an existing government that is probably now being pushed around by Hezbollah. It's possible when finally set free and the reality of the futility of trying to go against Israel sets in, they would seek a more cooperative direction with the rest of the world and be supported to prosper

There are other middle eastern countries that have no issues with Israel that leads to fighting, so it's likely an issue within those aggressive countries that is causing this problem

And some of these middle east countries wont even support receiving refugees from these aggressive countries so it goes to show that the concern and problem exists in that aggressive countries

Because also about power, some middle east group thought they can become lead then 1 big country like. abbasid caliphate, Persia or ottoman.
