I think Israel's retaliation is going to be mostly restricted to air strikes 24/7. They seem very averse to sending in troops for fear of losing (or get captured) them in a chaotic urban fight. It would be like a blackhawk down scenario. Which is why most of Hamas is still going to survive, because airstrikes don't really affect them since they got many bomb shelters and dugouts.
