Bro, can summarise, paiseh I'm bad in 繁体字。 Huang guochang looks very haggard

One of the few people charged for abiding in KP corruption case, Mr Peng, the ex-mayor, his wife committed suicide this morning.

Mr Peng was informed during the court in session this morning and his cry (audio) was caught by the media. He was granted bail and out of the court to settle his wife‘s case.

Very heart breaking. You can find the video (sound only) in tik tok. The video just show the press and reporters in shock to hear someone crying over the loss of wife from the court area.

no report of why the wife commit suicide?

No news yet.

According to some media, Peng’s wife was in Taipei yesterday, and then she went to Kaoshiung home to commit suicide this morning.
Sad.
RIP.

sorry to hear that.... but without understanding the background behind why 亡国昌 so fast use that as leverage to politize the case?

this really shows he is a political speculator, 政治投机者

So the prosecutor and court no longer worry about Peng going outside to "colluding with evidence"?

So does that mean Ke P need to see his wife killed before he can be allowed bail?

DPP-controlled prosecutor and judiciary really charlie bravo. :s22:

I really hope DPP's Big Recall fails with a few to zero seats taken. Most importantly the Xin Zhu mayor Gao Hong An must win! :o

I think Taipei Mayor Chiang will end his first term mayorship (2026) and challenge for the President election 2028.

Only him has the charisma and character now to topple Lai.

My view.

The big recall will fail.

Actually 繁体字 is not hard to follow, u just need to watch a few Taiwan news clip or variety shows for a few days and u will be able to recognise the relevant words that correspond to the 简体字 that u are used to.

Of course provided your 简体字 is good in the first place lah.

I see many of you here are very naive, you really think if blue and white can win Taiwan will overnight becomes prosperous??? No more corruption?

History has proven that whatever color, once they sit on the driver seat everyone will do the same for their own benefits.

That's Taiwan politic 101.

I think President Lai's 10 Talks is gonna be adding negative points to the Big Recall. It is more like Lai's 10 Talk Cocks. :s22:

DPP 40% and KMT and TPP each 30%, so is clear DPP is majority, you cannot combined the two losers and said they are majority, it does not count this way, this is how 館長has been misleading the people

Why cannot combine? How come DPP is unable to negotiate an alliance with TPP?

If they didn't and KMT had, of course the alliance have a legitimate majority and it counts.

Because TPP supporter and KMT supporter are mutually exclusive. The voter can only vote for one. KMT supported not necessarily support TPP and vice versa

Yes but in parliament they did vote together as a bloc most of the time, so they are the majority.
