台北地院審理京華城案，今（8）日提訊在押被告前台北市長柯文哲、威京集團主席沈慶京、台北市議員應曉薇、木可負責人李文宗4人，另傳喚前鼎越開發董事長朱亞虎，由柯等7組被告辯護律師團、北檢公訴檢察官輪流交互詰問朱亞虎。

檢察官上午針對朱亞虎的角色做確認，從朱亞虎的證詞可知，朱亞虎自2014年因為有公關專長，透過議員介紹到威京集團後，開始處理沈慶京有關京華城的業務。

朱亞虎證稱，2016年5月，他第一次透過蔡壁如安排見柯文哲，有跟柯文哲提京華城案，但柯文哲當時根本不清楚京華城案，之後就自然而然認識柯文哲辦公室的董晉曄，後由董男安排會面柯。

Yes, this put KP in favorable position.

(Previously, Mr Tiger admitted to bribing KP with NTD21M to help increase plot ratio of the building. He also provided SMS message about NTD21M to Mr Li (vice mayor) then.

But now in court, Mr Tiger admitted that KP does not know NTD21M. Mr Tiger admitted that the NTD21M is a donation to TPP. This is legal donation to a party.

The SMS was to tell the vice mayor he had tried hard to win favor, and he hoped Mr Li can arrange a meeting between KP and Mr Shen.

When the meeting between KP and Mr Shen happened, Mr Tiger was not in that conservation and whatever he told prosecutors in the past was his imagination.

The increase in plot ratio has nothing to do with KP as KP was not in the land change committee)

As far as green media is concerned, KP is history and no value to discuss him any more.

Their focus is correct, pull down all the blue 立委 is more critical than wasting time on a useless old man.

Final nuclear plant shutdown leaves Taiwan facing energy crunch​

Starting in the early 1980s, shipping nuclear waste for storage on Orchid Island off the southeastern coast of Taiwan was standard practice.

In 1996, a rust-streaked freighter carrying barrels of nuclear waste attempted to dock at Orchid Island off the southeastern coast of Taiwan. It never made it to shore.

Hundreds of residents, mostly from the island’s indigenous community, blocked the vessel with fishing boats and rocks, forcing it to turn back. It was the last time nuclear waste was sent there.

DPP really stubborn not to abandon the no nuclear power policy, which have resulted in massive losses for the Taiwan Power Company.

They are right. Taiwan so much earthquake, no ways to dispose the nuclear waste how to run nuclear plant?

Japan also got earthquake what, u never see them abandon nuclear power even after the Fukushima disaster. :s22:

Only time will tell how if it is wise for DPP to go non-nuclear energy policy.

In my opinion, it is better to remain nuclear power + solar energy, since Taiwan stockpiles of natural guess is 2 weeks. If PRC circles the whole island and cut off supplies, Taiwan will fall in 2 weeks.

Energy diversification is better.

Yes, energy diversification is much more important for Taiwan than the risks of nuclear power, and not to mention the relatively cheaper and cleaner cost of producing electricity from nuclear than burning gas or coal.

After all, it is not my wish to see the KMT/CNP become so weak.
After all, they have overthrown the Qing Dynasty if otherwise, we would still be wearing pigtails, contributed fighting massively in the Japanese invasion, fight against communism (although lost)
Back then in China, they were so powerful that they could even buy a spaceship.
Now they are reduced to rubble like that.
Even their ally TPP also finds it hard to save them.
