Taiwan's current state affairs make China look like a freedom fighter.

They give him 17 years for political funding of 100k SGD received by his political party which didn't even hit the bank account. Allegedly corruption even though the ruling party also do the same and openly brag about their funding being more. Went straight to campaign costs. Before that, they jail him for 1year plus and put a bail at least 2-3 times the alleged 'corruption' because they determined he potentially stole 'millions'.

The worst one is when they humiliate him by refusing to release him for his dad's funeral and keep trying to piss him off during the funeral by following extremely closely and giving all sort of bullsh*t restrictions.
