This type of hod, if resign , likely will burn bridge..cos such high ego if something hit her hard, will find fault yo everybody, thus will burn bridge
Under her management, many people left, some were even interview and handpicked by her.
Really shows that she is the "Problem".

U supposed to clear the shlt. Move on. Just update yr manager concerning the handover/checklist, in case he's the referral for the leaving colleague.
Definitely will do so as I need to updates what's happening diplomatically. No point fingers, just my poverty in neutral way.

my thought is: if company is on fire, then it shows how valuable i am.
If my work gets distributed out and nothing happens, it means i have failed my time in the company.

and true enough, nothing happened.
We must remember all workers are not indispensable. Companies still carry on the businesses as usual.
Those left , resign will be history.

Just curious. You company never tio audit ISO or whatever Quality audits before?
The first thing they ask is Control Plan (How you intend to control the process) and WI (Work instructions).
How can he resign without those docs?
Boss also not interested to make him write one.... sign
Yes we do.
But few of the annual jobs completely omit out and hod nvr bother to ask for updated documents.

I can feel that he is now, already officially resigned, putting a fake veil in his face. But I take it positively, no issue, he left, I can seek help from vendors, colleagues, etc etc.

Is there a chance that he did not give you the updated docs because the latest ones are already on your company portal? Maybe got admin girl uploaded them to the internal platform repository already?
Not sure but probably able to as there should be daily n monthly back available n shd be able to restore his folder.

Strangle nobody especially HR talk to her as why and HR nvr interview the staff to find out what really happen as so many staff resign under her realm.

TS not new bird leh. Why so shock? I don’t even expect up to date documents. If have, is bonus. I’ll make sure I buy lunch for that colleague and make sure next time we same team.
If don’t have then will be opposite. Do your best to survive!

We heard some of them who left told HR during the exit interview about what happened in our dept and her problematic maangement style, but somehow she still manage to stay on.

Perhaps HR want to keep her because I think ... I think only ah ... they like to have this kind of people around to "cull" the workforce, so HR no need to do the dirty work. Tio boh?

You click on the folders and you saw the time stamp and dates are few years back...

Inside the folder, outdated docs and procedures . Still have clips....

Is that call handover???

The guy is smart.
coz even if he did a good job of handover, anything wrong, you will tell the boss, the guy did not do proper handover, a lot of missing info and documents that you had to find and piece yourself.

死人是不会反驳的。呵呵。

Those exit interview are a show.
Their protocol.
After exit interview, nothing change.
HR still value those toxic dinosaur staff.
