That is how I see it.
They can forget about any NCMP seats cos there will be none.
And they will not be able to attract any strong candidates for the next campaign if they cannot get any seat.

Yes, and after appearing on TV so many times in his role as NCMP amidst some heated debates with PAP MPs, and if voters still reject him this time, I can only console LMW: "So sorry Singaporeans have let you down!"

Take it easy.
The path of opp is not easy.
Or else every one will be joining them.
HP have a higher chance of winning.

Yea rather than other rojak opposition parties just to make up d numbers.

Get good calibre 1s. So tat lighting n their supporters cannot say they low quality n calibre.
Yes u r right. Even if 1 MP is elected to parliament it's better than nth :)

From there they can start to "plant their roots" in a constituency and grow from there, jus like how WP started with hougang smc :)

The same voters who voted PAP into power in 1959 would vote Workers’ Party today. The electorate does not change. Values remain the same, justice and equality. Ruling parties change. And that’s why ruling parties will eventually be replaced.

I have a feeling this time we may see some shock results that can go either way!

It depends on how voters respond after GST increase and rising costs of living, if they still trust PAP or not.

Many observers say Singapore will follow the political upheavals as seen in many countries. I really don't know. Maybe the younger generations will be more willing to give chance to a reputable opposition party.

If I am a potential oppo candidate with highly decorated CV, I would not join a party with LMW, looking at how he behave in the parliament

The younger gen enjoyed the suffering under the son.
They dunno what happened under Mr Peanut and the old man.
Did they enjoy a better life than their parents ?
Dun forget some of their parents are also affected by the foreign labor and middle age retrenchment.
Unless they are blind, they should pay attention about the various increases despite after 9% GST increase.
Life is definitely not getting easier for them to get married or have a kid.

Unless you are the top 10%, you will be affected by all the cost increase.
Are all of them necessary ?
If the policy makers are completely blind about the ground, why should we continue to pay them to be blind ?

I can only say your view is as good as mine. Hopefully your confident view will be correct after the results are out.

There are still many people buying condos during recent launches. I think Singapore is a weird society.
