Aren't you also opposing the opposition for the sake of opposing? Any great solutions you can recommend incumbents to help others cope, such that oppositions are not a threat?
If opposition wants to contest, wants to oppose, they should come up with a solution. We are paying them next time if they win.

Just curious, somewhat noob, when they say inflation rate or increase, its an increase from the previous rate right, as in compound?

Yeah from previous rate. Anything above 2% annually risk of recession or stagflation

Its all the small little things adding up compounding effect is scary

If the incumbent can't even control our basic necessities, then why are we voting them in?

MYBFD yet ownself earn millions is outright umbrage

Think the FPTP system tend lead to two parties majority. And think there are signs already with one opposition growing stong. Think incumbent (or was it old man own self) also mentioned that there will come a time when the current incumbent no more.

What they can and probably is doing now, is ensure they are one of the two majority, if that time come. Its part and parcel of the system they chose for themselves. Think that's why they also saw it coming and said something.

Perhaps the only way they can keep on holding to power is if they turn full dictatorial like. Which likely will make even more kpkb fight back.

FPTP will always lead to unfair representation of parties as the main party can win majority of seats with a plurality of votes

I don't think the opposition has no solution, but solutions unacceptable by incumbents and supporters.

E.g. use high floor littering surveillance to capture smokers in hdbs. Unacceptable cause privacy. But hdb dwellers can take photos of naked neighbours.

PSP will need to win WCJW GRC in order to stay relevant as opposition in Singapore politics

Either is test water, or that Fernvale/YCK overwhelmingly voted for PAP to the extent that PAP would win even if a nobody is fielded.
