The resentment against Monitor lizard Lee online is insanee.. Esp on reddit

If WP fields ex-IMH director or Harpreet in East Coast, there is a good chance of flippin too.

I am predicting two more GRC/SMC to flip this GE :s41::s41:
I hope so. But 2015 GE was a good example of how Reddit doesn't vote...

Cant compare 2015 to 2025 le.. 2015 they capitalized on passing of LKY.. Alot of sympathy votes
Unlikely in this current scenario.

If there is no trade war, I would have agreed with you. But too bad time is not on the opposition side.
We will watch the space Mr Sg United. I am hopeful and predicting either East or West coast to flip. The worst election for PAP

No, I am not comparing 2015 GE. The other member was. There is no need to keep on mentioning LKY's effect.. It was over. We should move on.

It is the current narratives that will help the incumbent. Just the Covid-19 helped them back in 2020.

PSP should just get their strong team and focus on west coast...TCB, LMW, Hazel, Lawrence Pek..1 grc for psp enough ...dont need spread thin...
Exactly.. one strong team to take down one GRC will be enough for them.. furthermore worker party will likely take 1-2 more GRC this ge.. so there won’t be any NCMP next parliament.. so PSP voice will disappear for the next 5 years.

I would caution against being overly optimistic.
as much as I like this scenario to happen (two more GRC/SMC) to flip, Singaporeans is known to be meek and prefer status quo when there is potential risks to the economy. The US tariffs is quite disadvantageous to the opposition. I would be satisfied if WP can keep the 10 seats that they won.

From MOM website

Is an employer required to provide a paid public holiday on Polling Day?

As an employer, you should give your employees a paid public holiday on Polling Day, just like any other public holiday.
If your employees need to work on a public holiday:
  • They’re entitled to an extra day’s salary for the day’s work.
    OR
  • They should be given another day off.
You can also grant time-off-in-lieu for the following group of employees:
  • Workmen earning more than $4,500 a month
  • Non-workmen earning more than $2,600 a month
  • All managers and executives
The time-off-in-lieu should be based on a mutually agreed number of hours for working on a public holiday.

Let's have faith, step up, and ultimately respect the choice of the people.
