From the way he handled RK's COP, it's pretty clear to me that he yet just another yesman benting on fixing the opposition (PS in this case). Why would anyone vote for one who would put party interest first?
ET is rite that he should be given a chance to know whether he is Like by Ec sg 😂

Actually I think this is not unique to us. It’s just that we see the chaos full transparency brings to other countries from a distance
Do you have some recent examples of these countries?
I see it as a people issue, not a full transparency issue.
It could be that many of us are not ready to see the full and glorious light.

Bro....you want them to explain their papers in YouTube video? If you watch their YouTube videos, you will know they will point out the things they will do( eg how to reduce living costs). But they will still direct you to read their papers on how they intend to do it.

I read the PSP manifesto. It is not comprehensive enough.

The hdb land cost thingy, they nv explain how existing hone owners will be impacted, just said new buyers only pay land cost when selling....

PAP is the current CEO, oppositions are the auditors

CEO has all the absolute power to decide all policies, when company is not performing and worsen, CEO has to be responsible, not the auditors. The auditors can only propose, ask for more info, but the CEO "refused to learn, make mistakes but don't admit, admit but don't change".

What to do?

auditor can issue qualified financial audit report, no?
with a qualified report, coy can't get bank loans, ceo might even get sacked by the board.

“It’s time” was introduced by WP long time ago but now PAP wants to copy and use their slogan in this election.

can also ask 'why pap always focus on what oppo is doing wrong but not what they bring to the table'

Cheers and roar does not equal to votes

Floodgates has been opened long ago. The new citizens vote will dilute alot of noises
Opposition rallies attract opposition supporters from all over the island, and some swing voters , thus making it seem like ground is sweet for Opposition Parties

Actually I was thinking of USA. Where the press is free to produce everything

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/31/us/george-floyd-investigation.html

I did wonder if the news shouldn’t have been so graphic as it led to riots in USA. Of cos one can say cannot hide such info. But maybe being transparent will also incite more anger

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna386141

And of cos news reports might inspire copycats
