Some of the independent candidates are actually better than the oppo party candidates:
E.g. Jeremy Tan for Mountbatten SMC over PAR
E.g. Darryl Lo for Radin Mas SMC over PAR
E.g. Jay Ishaq Rajoo for Queenstown SMC over PAR

Seems like all the SMCs with PAR competing only have independants kachao them as they see PAR as mosquito party

The independents are significantly better than whatever PAR can put up.

I'm hearing Han Hui Hui may return under PAR
No need to give PAR face, just 3 corner and let them lose deposit

Heck i would not even mind if NSP comes down to jalan besar to contest instead.

kinda obvious rite. TSL was talking about the evils of tariff but never mention how much we were exempted. this one basically is armchio while telling u stories with a straight face........

and no, im not saying no fear. im saying they are running around telling u the sky is falling. in uncertainty keep belts tighten and be prudent about eating 18 sgd pasta. it dun matter if they dun get a super majority unless its to increase GST to save the poor again.....
and they like got no sensing of the ground when choose the tariff task force.. choose 3 of the most unpopular ones (NCM, CHT and Jo To )

I ran the GE2025 simulation. I was expecting either West or East Coast to flip.. The software presents both to flip. Also, presents SDP to win both SMCs.. Interesting stuff

we really need to get CSJ and Tambyah into parliament.

honestly, this is a disappointing electorate to have to deal with, to still support PAP now is wild

but baseline is CSJ and Tambyah into parliament

Bros, you seem to suggest FT is competing with Singaporean. Do you then think the FT bring along the benefit
of the Talent which we may not have acquire to help us solve our problem.
I am not saying that "FT" which we brought in must be talent. The problem is not in bring in the FT, the problem
is in bring in so called FT which is not the FT we need and these so called FT is in competition with our local.
Another point is that our govt keep forcing companies bringing FT to pay then high salary where they are willing
to take on job at a lower salary on the rational that increasing the salary companies will opt to employ Singaporean. This line of thinking is flaw, this merely raise cost and thus result in high cost of living.
Key word is 'readily'. Of cos we can't shut out FT completely, but there must be control on the amount of FT (foreign talent taking up PMET jobs) we are admitting. But at the moment I 'm seeing FTs everywhere.

Govt has been refusing to reveal the ratio of non-local born-PMETs to local born ones. Why? Because the revelation will adversely affect their support votes is it?

What has PAP done to combat inflation?
Increase GST and price of everything, which is effective. Why would Oppo want to change that?
