That is not wrong, but that assumes the country has your back.

Only when the country has your back then the statement makes sense, because it is essentially pointing out naysayers and "complain kings" without first looking at yourself.

So with the all the FT policy and gov-enabled cost increase (town council charge, water, transport fare, medishield premium etc), do they have your back?

they hab their own backs..... all raking in millions. Sale of 1 of their GCB is like tens of millions... pretty sure they hab other properties in their pockets.

meanwhile, sinkies coping with high cost of living.

wat to do? sinkies ownself voted for this. or sld i say the boomers voted for this.

rot starts from the top - when politicians need mega salaries to even consider lending their "talents" to the country, why need to ask the peasants to think about the country first and not about themselves

The Workers' Party (WP) says only elected opposition MPs can pressure and push the government and that is why the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) believes having Non-Constituency MPs as alternative voices is enough. WP chief Pritam Singh was defending his call for a stronger opposition presence in parliament, even as the PAP warned that could weaken the government and country. Afifah Ariffin has more.

During this election, I feel that LW is a very weak leader. He seems not to be in charge at all and everyone is doing their own thing, their own separate campaigns

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has described the Workers' Party's (WP) campaign, thus far, as one that features negative attacks, as well as with "inaccuracies aplenty". This comes after the WP slammed the People's Action Party's Punggol team at its rally on Apr 28. Leong Wai Kit with the details.

I dun see it as negative attacks. He is sharing his party's observations. Anyone can also make their own observations and I dun think it is far from WP.

Is true.. cause people bought oppo phone have problems coping with cost of living.. unlike people who draw million dollar salaries... no matter how expensive the phones are.. these winners can afford to buy...
