I received the same email, minimum $100 custody fee, but I always thought sgx shares has no custody fee but how come they still send me this email. Thought somewhere in the fine print has some term and condition on the waiver

Hi there I'm interested but have some questions. Howdo I get in touch with you?Hi oceanicmanta!
1) Yep, but I know some existing customers actually refer their family (e.g. spouse/children/siblings) to open a New-to-Bank joint account with them as main holder, so their family members qualify for the promotions, then they split the rewards between themselves, including a referral bonus of $300 too. Good workaround to get the promo if you are already existing customer.
2) Yes then subsequently after Dec 2020, they will credit you $130 x 7 months = $910 assuming you open this month.
3) Ultimately it is up to customer how they wanna split their funds. For Interestplus because it works abit like DBS Multiplier where you need to spend/insure with the bank to get more interest, it won't be useful for customers who just want to deposit and ignore the funds. I personally will recommend Money Market Account cos there's no cap on the balance that yields interest.
Hope that helps!
Hi cloud9ts! I'll drop you a PM![]()
