Anyone with SCB priority holding the blue VI card? Did you request your RM to sign for you or they auto give it to you? Am a SCB priority holding other CC with them but when request to get the VI Blue am not qualified?
Seriously? Lol

Only reason is to get the PP not that I can use it now other than that nothing to shout about this card. So sick of this thought of just moving out all my funds and shares to other place.
Are u referring to the priority banking VI credit card? I signed up on my own. I went to battery road branch and filled in the application form. Damn old school. Haha. This card is good - 24 visits under priority pass. Too bad I didn’t manage to use a single visit since 2020.

I request my RM to assist for the application and even filled up as I did went to the brunch to sign up but they mentioned only the RM can assist on the priority banking VI credit card. Like what?? ok no choice.
Even so, 2 weeks later RM told me application rejected. Seriously? So my priority banking icon is fake? lol
Not say I got bad credit or what but I do hold other cards with SC and priority banking cannot get the priority banking VI. Joker really.

can the annual fees be waived for this card?
no AF, its perpetually free for last 10 years dont even need to waive - referring to the blue VI with 24 PP, but i dont value it at all. Funny thing is they gave me the card though i didnt maintain 200k AUM. if want PP just apply Dbs altitude and Citi premier miles 2x per year free. Anyway now all plaza premium lounge network have dropped out of PP, its slowly losing its shine.

Switched to moomoo 0.03% comm, better than scb 0.18%.

my cycle and yours different i think, usually may signup only need park 80k by end june and can remove by end july, those who sign up in june need put 250k and have separate set of T&C for the ipad, may need to do customer profiling or earmarking of 3 mths.

I was referring to the free ipad terms and conditions. It says "Deposit a minimum sum of S$250,000 (“Minimum Deposit”), consisting of fresh
funds, into the Eligible Bank Account within 90 days of account opening,
where “fresh funds” means funds that do not originate from any existing
account with Citibank...Maintain the Minimum Assets under management amount of S$250,000 in the
Eligible Bank Account for 90 days from the day the Eligible Bank Account is
opened... “. My interpretation is that the 250k must remain in the bank account. Happy to be wrong about this.
For $600-$900 incentive, yes I do understand that it is 250k AUM which can be cash or investments. For investments, equities are eligible too but Citi's brokerage cover US, SG, HK and not LSE.
I checked with the RM on this. The money need not remain in the bank account, as long as it is used for investment or insurance purposes. In my case, I bought unit trusts. The sales charges were exorbitant, but the various rewards associated with the purchase of investment products more than covered for it.

Thought of clarifying further but in the end did not go ahead after realising that Citigold brokerage does not allow LSE market which is the bulk of our investments and intended future investments. But good for those who managed to get the free ipad and cash incentives. :)
