Hi oceanicmanta

Just curious. Did ANZ charge you the $50 maintenance fee per month for failing to meet the requirement of AUM of $150k?

SCB was quick to call me about not having enuf $ to maintain the PB status. Dint use any of their other services at all & never spoke to anyone there. My wife was not offered PB status though she qualified at time of placing deposit.

ANZ PB never bothered me after leaving just $5 in the account for a long time & kept our status. The biz development manager still keeps us posted about their promos ... In general, more personable service compared to SCB

Anyone know about authenticity of RLBC Capital? Saw it at a roadshow in raffles city offering high returns for funds locked in for 2 years.

CitiPriority

I don't see much benefits with CitiPriority so far or I guess I don't know what kind of benefits there are.

Anybody on CitiPriority that finds it useful?

High returns?
Locked in?
Sold by agents at roadshows?

Without knowing anything about this product I suspect there may be more risk of substantial capital loss than advertised.

"too good to be"

there are never good deals at the consumer level.

Just to check for SCB PB qualification criteria, does it include the market value of stocks held under SCB stocks trading platform?

Currently a CitiPriority client (which doesn't seem special...) and I received a letter asking me to join as CitiGold customer by meeting the minimum 250k AUM... I'm nowhere near that amount so into the shredder it goes... :s13:

No point as you still have to pay taxes when issue ticket.

Interestingly, I called SCB's Priority hotline on Friday and they noted that my online equities account's market value doesn't count towards my Assets Under Management (AUM). Does SCB have different equity accounts?

maybe your stocks invesment need to be under their management to be counted? i know their account is custodian but we manage our own investment so maybe this is why not counted

I went through this with SCB too. You cannot get Priority status based on your online equity account, but they assured me once you have it they will not take it away while you keep the money in your trading account.

I also qualified by transferring in equities from CDP to the SCB custodian account. This was some years back though (maybe 2013?), so not sure if anything's changed since then?

Thanks all for your experiences on this. I managed to get a complimentary priority account for 12 month. I guess I might get reverted back to a normal account as I might not hit the minimum AUM if it excludes the equities account.
