I know a guy who just signed up last week. DBS still accept 200k.
Probably due to strong competition from UOB wealth banking with only 100k.

are there any pros/cons or risks of transferring from cdp to dbs nominees? will there be any difference in purchasing stocks using vickers?

Currently more pros than cons. In future, dont know.

Transferring stocks from CDP to DBS nominee , fee is absorbed by DBS.
Transferring stocks from DBS nominee to CDP, you have to pay.

Trading is through DBS online banking, 0.18% fee with no min charge is cheapest so far. Cash paid upfront before buying shares. May not be easy for contra.

If you have local shares, no custodian fee, so far.
For US shares you have to pay custodian fee.

Need to check with RM on the details of all other fees if you have foreign shares, esp for rights issue, dividend distributions etc.

Just checked with him to confirm. That guy who just signed up has 350k with the bank.
Sorry. My mistake. 200k was last years requirement.

How much are the vouchers?

So confirm 200k can join DBS Treasures?

Hmm, took up DBS Treasures recently as joint. Pumped in some funds and they took us in. RM says they take into considerations accounts under both our names only. Don't reckon we held 350k jointly with them when we signed up. If the holding amount falls below 200K, expect $50 admin fee.

Recently joined as DBS Asia Treasures Private Client. As such don't need the large sum of AUM. But other criteria apply. You would have to ask the RM for the criteria as I am not sure what they are exactly but apparently I qualified. I think one of the criteria is your annual income. Asia Treasures has nice lounge at Changi Airport and airport limo to fetch you on arrival in Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan.

Not interested in any card for which I have to pay a hefty fee. I use different cards for different purposes. Don't care about the prestige or whatsoever.
