Hi, NTB definition is strictly no SCB account ? Not even cards or savings account in the last 12 months, is that how it is? I did ask priority CSO and she’s adamant that’s how the bank define NTB priority customer. If your RM is more relaxed on this kindly PM me as I’m keen to join too. But I already have SCB accounts FYI. Thanks!

U have to park the funds in for 3 to 4 months depending when u open the account.

It really depends what are you after.

Their current signup bonus (especially for priority), 100k miles for 200k fresh funds (lock-in 3 months) is pretty decent, especially cause you still can get decent interest from eSaver account.

In terms of benefits, they do give out small treats once in awhile and the SCB PVI card that comes along with the priority account can give you 24x priority pass lounge access annually if you have at least 200k with them.

Does anyone know if the Standard Chartered priority banking priority pass free visits can be used for guests?

And moreso for multiple guests (myself, spouse, 2 kids)? I don't even use 5 visits otherwise.

Or does it work to whip out multiple cards each with priority pass privilege?

Nah, can sign in as many as you want, just that you must pay for guests.

But if the card gives 8/24 visits free then they won’t charge you for the entries unless you exceed the limit

I don't think so, mine is unlimited visit but was told can sign in 1 guest each time

If yours is under Citi prestige for example. They’ll tell you unlimited for you and one guest. That means only you and one guest can go in at any point of time for free. Any others will be charged. You can however go in with a guest as many times in a year and you won’t be charged.

Similarly, some cards offer unlimited for yourself only which means any guest will be charged.

If you have a PP like SC PVI, which gives you 8-24 entries a year, you can bring in yourself and 7 other guests all at once. After that, you can’t go in anymore for free.

hmm i remember priority VI under SCB allow 24 entries, but only limited to 1+1. I think you better read the tnc, i received the renewal card last week and remember they explicitly stating 24 visits per year with 1+1 per visit. 3rd guest will be charged.

They used to offer unlimited entries for guests under 24 visits per year but changed to 1+1 now.
