But other than that, stuck with 250k inside?

Trading at 0.25% or $25 min, not really worth compare to SCB am I right?

if you meet certain criteria the welcome gifts in $$$ may be better for citigold

got free birthday cake, free limo rides to and from airport :o

for share trading most prefer scb but heard there are even better deals with others. my shares are under citi custodian though :(

citi maxigain giving ~2% p.a. for savings though need to build up the counter

Have to quickly decide on one out of Citigold, HSBC & UOB. Looking for high rates of interest on the parked funds, airport lounge access, add on credit cards with best options & best welcome gifts. Which one would you suggest?

no best of both worlds

i will put $200k for welcome gift in hsbc premier for high yield, combine with hsbc rev/plat/premier master for free luggage, then park $200k portfolio in scb for VI PP unlimited for lounge access

citigold and uob yield is too low, maybe can just apply citi premiermiles for 2 access a year

Citigold gives $1000 anniversary bonus if account held for 12 months, in addition to $800 welcome fee + $300 referral fee

after 12 months, jump ship

for my case, its about 1.9x% pa

Eh why u say combine? U can use hsbc rev to clock the bonus interest?

I think the sweetspot for CitiGold is 3mths (min holding period for getting welcome reward & referral) or 12 mths (for the 1k loyalty bonus)

need a combination of normal savings + maxigain account

after 12mths, probably best to downgrade to priority to max returns

if interested, I can intro my Citigold Acq Manager. he can get you the best deal available

i have not used any of their other service / privileges, so cant comment there
