DBS private client AUM is $1.5M but they need you to be accredited investor with $2M assets. Unless you have your AUM in stocks or bonds, else cash holdings has zero percent yield. Good thing is their welcome promo is good, $6000+. i prefer SCB Priority banking, it fulfill most of your conditions

Any mid tier priority bank to recommend, with a few conditions, in order of importance?

1. Must allow singapore shares to be considered as AUM. (transfer out from CDP to bank's custody)
2. Good online trading platform, with a focus on singapore shares (stable, cheap commission)
3. Good rates (FX, TT, transfer from and to CDP, no hidden costs etc)
4. Travel benefits (lounges etc)
5. Award status to both account holder IF joint account.

Total Aum max 1.5m

So far looking at DBS treasures private (1.5) and SCB (0.2, for their VI card). Mainly for their platform.
Anything else to explore?

If you join DBS Treasures PC. Your travel benefits only lasts for a year. After which, you also need to hit 30k (single name) or 60k (joint name) on their credit cards and the 1.5m AUM to requalify for travel benefits. If you dont, there are no Asia Treasures benefits (lounge and limo) after a year.

sorry, im new to priority banking stuff. But let's say i transfer all my stocks to SCB for priority banking requirement, then in a few months the share price drop and i am below 200k AUM.

Will the priority benefits be revoked till I am above 200k AUM again? Or must pay for the priority banking service?

Well the secret is that bank staff have no visibility of your online trading assets because it is firewalled. I had to have cash to get PB status though I’m sure it can be done.
I doubt they have any process to withdraw PB after trading losses.

I did that last year, just get your RM or go to Treasures centre to fill a security transfer form (for bonds make sure you have the ISIN) with CDP account number, took about 3 to 6 weeks to complete and all charges were paid by DBS and there was no custody fees at the moment.

Anyone transferred shares/bonds to UOB PB and are there any custody fees and CDP maintenance fees? Can these be waived like DBS?
