IIRC .18 only applys to buy.
its still 0.35 when you sell it?
I agree on the line of credit, might be the lowest on the market?
anyone who know of any facility that can beat dbs's?
Commission for buy and sell are the same, both are 0.18%.

Placing stock with DBS counts towards AUM for qualifying as DBS Treasures member while with CDP do not.
Currently, member's brokerage fee is 0.18% with no min charge and there is no custodian fee for local stock.
There is no charge for transfer of stocks from CDP to DBS.
You have to pay to transfer stocks from DBS to CDP.
Transfer takes 2 to 3 weeks to process.
DBS gives you a line of credit based on 60 to 70% of the value your stocks. Interest rate is good, close to Sibor.

Really? No minimum charge?![]()
Yup as u said, its a talk cock thread, not sure why u trying to seek your pot of gold here. If u can't pick up on some of the advice ppl here have shared as well as in other threads, go read a book instead. It's probably more blatant for u.
not trying to be funny or to go OT here. i knew nuts about investment. where would be a good start for it in local context (blog, website, book etc?) for pure dummies?
For long term stuff, I tend to put my bets at REIT. And till date, haven't been terribly wrong. One thing which I've been exceptionally bad at is Forex trading. Its oh so fun, but it sure hurts like hell when you bloody lose $14K within 1 hour because of accidents.not trying to be funny or to go OT here. i knew nuts about investment. where would be a good start for it in local context (blog, website, book etc?) for pure dummies?

+1, on principle don't say no to free money! Spoken like someone who knows the value of itYup nothing to do w me. I will mind my own business. U go mind yours, don't need to kaypoh what ppl here are doing.we all are cheapos here, only want to get free vouchers from PB referrals
Anyway, since this is a PB thread. Let's tie this to more PB stuff! Many ppl says PB only use is status, no queue, lounge, nice angbao packets. I think there's more to that. It gets u access to a lot of other investment opportunities n leverage, which if u know how to deploy, it's a powerful tool.![]()
Specifically - what investment opportunities, though? In my limited experience, when I meet up with the bankers, they mainly want to sell funds...
For myself, a non-active investor, wouldn't I be better off in the long run just buying ETFs and sitting on them?
(I do, however, enjoy the free unlimited PP provided, haha.)
I think someone previously mention that DBS Treasures has good rates on line of credit.

and yea..some of the leverage stuff, not everyone can stomach. so tread carefully. Leverage has risk but its a powerful tool if u know how to deploy it !
Anyone with scb priority banking?
Do you ever get charged if you fall below 200k?
And if so anyone managed to get waiver for it before? Thanks in advance

Yes and not too difficult to get waiver. Especially if your RM is happy with your business.
