Ryzen is here! Almost!

Powered by the latest AMD 14nm FinFET technology, Ryzen rises against the blue giants with their latest 8 Core 16 Thread flagship: Ryzen 7 1800X!
Featuring Precision Boost speeds of 4.0GHz and beyond, 20MB of total Cache and a TDP of 95W, Ryzen 7 1800X is a beast and a beauty at barely half the price of the blue camp i7-6900K!
Also available at launch are the fellow counterparts:
Ryzen 7 1700X and Ryzen 1700 with Wraith Spire CPU cooler
All Ryzen CPUs features 8C16T design, unlocked multipliers and are compatible with AM4 socket motherboards.

Hmmm.. so this time AMD distro is Convergent Systems interesting.
BTW according to Lazada it state three years warranty?
Does warranty cover chip damaged/faulty due to overclock?

In the past AMD themselves which I recalled, they have mentioned
if the chip is damaged when overclock. They will not handle such
RMA but rather customers have to get a new chip.

Do not know whether are there are changes about this.
Any comments on this?
Oh ya, seems like I am the first post and one of the few AMD users
still alive. :s13:

Still have few aged old Phenom II system waiting to upgrade. :D

If that's the case, I guess it's no different from what we have from Intel for years. Any trace of OC = RMA not entertained

Oh the 1700X and 1800X doesn't come with cooler... I know most users of these probably have their own cooler already. But I was interested to check out the big wraith cooler.

Buy complete set, use Coolermaster cooler, use the Spire as a desk display item, wire a USB port to power the LED ring....
