I was about to build my new rig last December till I read about Ryzen. Will wait for the real-world benchmarks from popular reviewers (LinusTech, JayzTwoCents, HardwareCanucks, TechSource, etc) before deciding on the processor. Price-wise, AMD would be value for the money. Performance-wise, we'll just have to wait and see. If the real-world benchmarks is similar to the ones displayed by AMD, then it shows that Intel all along has been charging us with ridiculous prices for their processors. By the way, if I'm getting Ryzen, I will be opting for MSI X370 XPower Gaming Titanium, which will cost roughly the same as the Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero. Anyone knows whether this model will be sold in Singapore? Thanks in advance.

The Amd cooler.............copy from Intel????

Sent from Asus ME173X using GAGT

Intel's stock cooler have gone through some serious cost cutting. First they shrink the size of the cooler, then they remove the copper core. No point copying their cooler. Without looking at the new AMD cooler, the RGB LED already one up the Intel stock cooler, though I am no fan of RGB LED.

G4560 is Intel answer to competition against AMD Ryzen.

If AMD's Ryzen is as good as we have seen, the Pentium G4560 is a poor attempt to fend off competition. Good thing for Intel is that R3 and R5 will only be released in Q2. Also at the low end, the lack of a built in GPU may not appeal to all.

If the current Ryzen CPUs doesn't have any onboard GPU then why does the mobos all have display ports like HDMI,DVI and etc built in onboard ?

I foresee alot of tech idiots go argue with SLS shops why they still need to buy a dedicated graphics card and not use onboard graphics.. Why the shops like Tradepac and PcThemes wanna chop them carrothead by asking them to buy a graphics card...

They are for future/backwards compatibility for APUs later in the year.

And i do not foresee many people go SLS and argue with shops why they cannot use onboard graphic.

These boards are meant to work with their APUs that will launch later this year. To be honest, most people buying these 6/8 core processors typically don't need onboard graphics. Buying an Intel 6 core chip could get me a 6 core AMD Ryzen + dedicated graphics easily.

That is back in the days of VIA chipset which I remember.
Nforce and ATI chipset were stable as I have been a long
time AMD user.
