I'm not sure what a SDS hammer is

Looking for something that is able to drill through concrete for replacing those ceiling lights and compatible for screwing (screwdriver) etc.

GSB18 cordless. It doesn’t do concrete well, but it will work ok for light jobs.

The 40V line is serious beef. I won't probably ever need products from that lineup for my DIY stuff haha.
Milwaukee Fuel brushless gear is great. Accessibility seems a bit limited here in SG tho.

I got a cheap cordless Ingco SDS rotary hammer. It comes with batteries and charger.
So far so good, I've used it to hammer drill quite a few holes in concrete already.
I have a Makita rotary hammer also, but it's corded, and I lazy to pull cord around.

it is a cordless drill/driver with a hammer function That's how I see it. I prefer using hammer to impact as impact drivers (not drills) are a whole different beast.

It can handle concrete and brick with the correct bit. It will not handle rebar reinforced concrete mainly because rebar cutter bits are only SDS.

Btw all u highrise kia... please dun anyhow use rebar cutters. You will compromise the loadbearing capacity of your columns and beams.

for home drill 18V GSR alone enough?

No. gSR is only drill wood , metal it doesn't have the hammering function like it's GSB model that can drill wall.

I have the various GSB 18V, can easily punch holes in old HDB walls but difficult in new BTO walls. Need to get good drill bits and a bucket of water to cool down during drilling

IMHO.
Bosch battery less electronics, less failure point.
Can look at Bosch GDX, if not drilling large concrete holes.
The technology is in the drill bit.

P.S. Makita service centre is in some remote location.
