Cook maybe twice a week. Sometimes, just eat bread.

Haven't flown anywhere for 7 years. But did drive up to Malaysia for holidays a few times. Thinking of Oz or UK vacation next year. But not sure if can travel solo anymore. Don't think it's a good idea at my age. Maybe try to persuade my friend to come along.

Exactly this should be the correct mindset, what's the point of suffering yourself just to squeeze something out as your legacy. The best legacy to leave behind is ensuring that your kids are equipped with the right skills and mindset for themselves. If capable, they can go out to earn it for themselves.

Just not depending on them for your next meal and enabling them to fully go out to take on the world without you hindering them

According to the above article, only the first 2 CCAs are over-subscribed. The other 3 are under-subscribed. So you might want to check out those.

The monthly fees fluctuate so much. Wonder if worth staying there.

If you not sure you can always go visit the show flat at HDB Hub at Toa Payoh. I think for one elderly BBFA, it should be ok. For two people, might still be ok but that means the two of you cannot get out of each other's sight so it is something only the two of you can answer.
