If a monkey knows how to post on the internet, then must really listen to the monkey already.

i am here to warn people not to believe in everything that is written on the internet. Do your own analysis.

you go ahead and trust the monkeys and believe that srs that earns high returns is bad.

I didn’t say is bad. I’m just saying, you cannot just look at 1 metric to determine whether you are best served overall. There’s a lot of other circumstances (personal ones) to consider.

People say SRS is good for them doesn’t necessary mean is good for you.

this point correct.

i do buy shares like singtel, dbs...

i buy shares with my spare cash, cash that i can afford not to touch for a long long time.

so why not top up srs and buy with singtel with srs. i can run some tax if i do this. top ups to sa cannot be used to buy singtel.

i do not religiously top up 15k everyyear. i top up as and when i want to buy singtel and hold hold hold.
