CPU sometimes cannot power on

Hi I have a DIY PC, recently sometimes it cannot power on the cpu. What could be the problem

Maybe PSU old, maybe got loose cable, maybe gpu, maybe maybe maybe...

RAM: G. Skill 8gb DDR4
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250gb
HDD: Toshiba 1TB
GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 TI 4gb
PSU: Seasonic M12II Evo 620W F-Mod
Casing: Cooler Master Box Lite 5 ATX

Is the BIOS on motherboard the latest?

Yup I checked yesterday. Funny is sometimes can power den shout down, the next time sometimes cannot power on machiam no power

Till today still no response whenever I depress the power button on the CPU so what should I do?

Did you plug the gpu cable (8 pin) into the 8 pin ATX socket for cpu, near to I/O?

may i confirm only recently you have been unable to power on your pc? if so, check your connections make sure they are fitted properly.. just give them a little nudge to make them in place. if this still does not work, you might want to try swapping your power switch with your reset switch to see if its the switch problem. last resort, it could be your psu problem.

I had reassemble the connections used different power sockets but no avail, probably it’s like what you said the PSU have problem

It would be best if you've spare parts to test the system. I would first start by replacing the Power Supply.

Do you have a 2nd computer you could rip out the PSU to test? or even loan one from a friend?

your psu should be under warranty. Just take to distro to test.
