Just recently fix up my system less than a week ago, and Blue Screen just appeared.

BCCode 124, afterwhich I couldn't log into my system anymore, keep on getting bsod during windows loading.

Tried windows PE, clonezilla, acronis, they just dont work.
Changed rams, gfx card, storage drives, dont work as well.

Only thing I can show now is this, took a photo before it restarts it self again.

Processor uplorry?

Pls advice... been a very EMO week for me... the pic show so many RIPs...... lol...

hmmm, but if running the system at default setting can cause this problem, den something must be really wrong liao.

Win7, thing is now i need to isolate the issue, with most of the parts i tested ok. its only left with either the motherboard or the cpu

if you RMA through intel and you told them your processor was bought less than 30 days they will insist you send it back to the store.

now the store will have the prerogative if they exchange it 1 on 1 or send it through Intel.

so if they dont want to do 1 on 1 better RMA it yourself tell them it was bought 3 months ago so no more questions.

Did you ensure your H100i was properly mounted on your CPU before and when you turn your PC on?

This is getting more frustrating than I can possibly imagining.... :(

Yes, remounted my cooler again after i read about code 124 could be something to do with improper cpu cooler mounting...
Though mounting should be the least of the worries, have you seen some distro tech support test our motherboards? haha...

Maybe the almighty chip wants you to use the Legendary Intel Stock Cooler in order to function

it could be your mobo in auto mode giving low volts to the chip

I'd tried 1.15 o 1.2 manual set also cannot, 3.5ghz don't think it need 1.3 to run? Its like going to the OC territory liao.

Kinda running out of ideas liao, think just take my chip down to **** shop and demand 1 to 1?

lastly check for bent pins...else you need to RMA it..and I would suggest RMAing it yourself it will take only less than a week especially if you bugged Intel CS :)

btw, have you tried with just 1 stick of RAM yet? Another PSU?

PSU no, ram tested already. If I go aim PSU and touch wood ah, its another CORSAIR product liao~ not to mention ram also :(

Did you push your chip too hard? (overclocking and increasing voltage?)

No OC, I run my system at default this time right after setting it up, the only possible thing I'd changed was boot device.
