I just bought a pair from the IT Show. I'm more than satisfied with this gadget

1) Reasonable price
2) Light and comfortable
3) Bass comparable to my Jaybird X3 (Good)
4) Nice design
5) Phone call loud n clear

I was intending to get a BT headset but got this instead. No brainer here!

await pictures!:s12:

Bought a set from it show.

Briefly use it while traveling home,
quite light n comfortable
Very ez to pair n if use finish just put in back
Sound quality lose to my Sony sp700
Quite sturdy built

overall can recommend to folks who wanted decent earpiece and yet dun wanna burn a hole in the pocket if not fussy with the sound quality

for sound quality the best is still sennheiser true wireless. need to ask is the sound quality similar or better than their outlier one?

Lol pictures dun says a thousand words for this gadget bro...

My review is purely based on my personal preference as hearing experience differs from individual to individual.

I just bought their sxfi air n I din really like it due to lack of bass even with it's 50mm neodymium drivers which supposed to deliver bass punches...

So sort of make me skeptical abt how this little gadget perform.

Needless to say, after testing it at the booth, no 2nd thoughts abt it.

All in all, it's a worthy buy for me cuz I will choose this over any BT headset!

Off topic - anyone here uses Huawei or XM wireless earpiece?
They look just as good as Airpod
If by XM you mean Xiaomi, then the cheaper white ones are not that good.

Looking to get a set. Hope existing users can comment on:
1. Comfort? Does it feel like u can leave it in ur ears for several hours?
2. Seal/noise isolation? Does it block out most of the sounds?
3. Drop connection. Any?
4. How secure is the buds? Will it like get left behind in ur ears when u remove from ur ears?
5. Read the feedback in the forum tat bass is good......wat about mid and highs?? Do they come across clear or muddled?

I'm not able to go down personally to listen to the demo due to work commitments.

Looking forward to ur comments. Thanks.

1. Comfort? Does it feel like u can leave it in ur ears for several hours? - I wear it for say 2 hrs yet dun feel the pain. As it's light so I guess it doesn't stress out ur ears
2. Seal/noise isolation? Does it block out most of the sounds? - Yup it seals my ears comfortably
3. Drop connection. Any? - No such experience yet unless I left my phone in the living room n went to the kitchen
4. How secure is the buds? Will it like get left behind in ur ears when u remove from ur ears? - I gotta 'pull' it out from my ears if u knw what I meant
5. Read the feedback in the forum tat bass is good......wat about mid and highs?? Do they come across clear or muddled? - Mid n highs r crispy clear

Hope it helps! :s13:

Re: The Outlier Air can’t be used simultaneously on 2 devices?

Unless I’m doing it incorrectly, the Outlier Air can’t be used simultaneously on 2 devices, although it can be paired to 2 devices, just that only 1 device can be used at a time. Any user can confirm whether it can be used simultaneously on 2 devices?

This is such a disappointment as most Bluetooth 4.0 & above earphones can be paired & used simultaneously on 2 devices. This is key for many who likes to listen to music or shows on their tablets, laptops or another device while being able to hear notifications & receive/make calls on their phone for e.g.

My other thoughts after using for 6 hours are:
1. Sound quality is average – reasonable & about the same as Outlier One. It actually improve slightly after 6-hours of usage (maybe due to some burn-in time needed).

2. Those with smaller ears like ladies might find it less comfortable for sure. For a guy like me in an air-con room, it is fine so far. However, will be keen to take it for a 10km run in the hot & humid outdoor environment to see how movements, vibrations & sweat affects the comfort level & also the use of the touch controls in pausing, skipping music or making/receiving phone calls on the move.

3. Battery about 20% remaining after 6-hours (*where it was charged fully before the 1st usage). Not sure whether 10-hours claimed life can be achieved.

4. It does turn off by itself after about 5mins once it is not used & Bluetooth is switch off on your device/phone. It is actually quite a while, was hoping that it should be about 2-3min.

What do you mean I am asking for this & that for a $100 device. I don't think I am asking for much. Just saying it should be able to be used simultaneously with 2 devices. Even simple $50 cheap ear-pieces from Jabra or Plantronic has this now as they are all Bluetooth 4.0 & above which allow this feature. Anyway, Creative in the user manual & also the advertisement indicated pairing & using the Outlier Air with 2 devices. But this is misleading as it should be stated clearly that only 1 device can be used at a time.

Without trying it out at the booth I just bought one and left since I was in the area.

1) Yes, it's very light and it rests on your ear. Didn't feel any significant pressure/pain points on the ear in around 2h of usage.

2) Yes, it blocks out a nice amount of noise

3) Was trying to set it up outside the exhibition halls but the connection (between phone and earbuds, earbuds to earbuds) was terrible. The mic wasn't picking up my voice very well too.

However once I move to the less crowded areas in Suntec (main shopping area) and on the train back home there weren't any connection drops at all. Calls made were fine too.

4) You can easily insert or remove from your ear without issues - the tips come out together with the earbuds fine.

5) I won't call this a bass heavy iem though. If your tracks have alot of bass then you'll get the bass. There's clarity across the mids and highs but could it be better? To my ears, the Outlier Air has a decent, competent sound that doesn't overwhelm.

Noted, maybe you can live chat creative and tell them your unhappiness and see what they can do for you
