Let's put it this way. If the product potential is damn good, the big player will just swallow creative. Or insiders increasing their stake.

Bear in mind, all this is infancy stage...behind the scene big players are probably in talks...something this huge will take time to agree on terms n conditions...just be patient for the big announcement.

creative no mind share... not like boses/beats... competitors around the world will copy their products and sell similar products... after that, creative sues them for patent infringement and get a smaller license fee if win.... creative main business is fighting lawsuits... hard truths....eat until no meat...

creative no mind share... not like boses/beats... competitors around the world will copy their products and sell similar products... after that, creative sues them for patent infringement and get a smaller license fee if win.... creative main business is fighting lawsuits... hard truths....eat until no meat...
From media reports, creative has learnt painful lesson...they going to licence the technology to players like beat/bose and maybe even apple...instead of doing lawsuits

Yeah, companies would buy direct from Creative instead of trying to reverse engineered which might cost more.
Can license cheap enough to make it not worth to reverse engineered, yet high enough to maintain profit and provide constant cashflow, ideally.

So it will be similar to arm? they just license the technology and let others to create their own chips
