Credit Card Rewards Reference Table

This is a continuation from the previous thread as thread starter has been AFK for a while.

This is a reference for everyone who wants to make the best use of credit cards. It lists the amount of points earned for different merchants. List will mature as more and more users contribute.

It's currently a first draft, primitive yet functional. :s22: It's currently not shared for editing yet, hope to hear comments and constructive criticizms on how it can be improved. If moderators can sticky this thread, it will be great. Will be updated frequently.

If possible, discussion in this thread should be limited on how to improve the table or add additional credit card master threads. For discussion on the specific credit card, please go to their respective threads below. This is so we can keep the thread history.

UPDATE: Now open for crowdsourcing!

DBS Woman's Mastercard
UOB Preferred Platinum Visa
Citibank Citi Rewards
Citibank PremierMiles

Singapore Credit Cards: Tips for credit cards & savings (updated 07/07/2013)

It was mentioned:
Pay your Town Council S&CC fees online:
for few Town Councils only
via Town Council websites
the author didn't try this previously

Any idea which town councils?
accept credit card??

If you refer to paying online, not sure which one can do so, never seen before. If you talking about physically paying at counters, quite a number like Aljunied-hougang, marine parade etc. If talking about monthly charge to credit cards, currently doing so with UOB One. Simple and easy to get rebate. DBS CC can be used at AXS to pay S&CC.

I am referring to "pay online w credit card" - eg if such method exists, may pay by DBS woman to gain 10x ?
I used to pay at the counter (for 6 months) because CSO from SCB told me that my bonussaver card not entitled to rebate (not true at all).
I am presently paying w GIRO using my Bonussaver card- lol!
Just thinking of alternative as my Bonusaver debit card(free 2 year) will expire March2014:D

As seen in the respective thread, looks like UOB Preferred Platinum Visa is still having issues with merchants whether it earns SMART$ or UNI$.

This provides alternative for Toa Payoh residents.
Anyone staying there try this?
Any more TC like this?

Yes I am doing this. Previously was doing manual, every month go online btpytc portal to pay through credit card, starting this month, it is auto.

Based on my understanding and experience, they are not using some sophisticated platform. in the portal, we key in the necessary info, like my TC account, my cc number, expiry date, ect. next working day, a staff there will trigger the payment using the info I provided. how I know? for 2 times, I provided wrong expiry date, the staff actually called me to verify and subsequently processed it again. the auto cc payment is the same, it is just a and authorization form for me to sign, saying that I authorize btpytc to trigger this payment to my card.

I am too under recurring scheme paying tanjong pagar town council w my bonussaver debit card.
This manual payment online, tho "troublesome" will allow one to choose the "best" credit card to pay, when necessary.

CALCULATION TAB UPDATED

I've updated the "Calculation" sheet.

Basically it's the page to help you calculate your points. Just fill in the value (including the cents) and see how much points you get for the qualifying transaction.

Formulas are correct. I did not include DBS Woman's cause that one is a mystery.

Let me know what other cards needs this function and I will add it in. Of course, do provide the formula as well if you have it.

Just questioned my town council on the epayment available to Bishan-Toa Payoh. Emailed me back they will look intoit.

Perhaps all should email your respective town council on the difference? (my understanding is all town council belongs to ONE coy except Aljunied....)
