Those believe or holding is mainly LL... because 'invested' $ if sell may lose $ etc, or FOMO on "What if" in another few months chiong to 100k~1mil etc.
People must know 1 thing, if can reach 100k to 1mil for 1 btc, normal folks out there also can't afford or risk to buy 10% of it value. Unless u are Elon or simi Bill etc.
Back then the highest price was 80k+ SGD, it was already peak and then drop.(The whales hold and knew the limit from suckers)
As for simi halving or next time harder to get btc etc, please it has been how many years already, many coin circulated out there also, not lack of that halving also. U can't afford to buy all of them too regardless halving or not. It's just to sound 'rare' for suckers to go in or jack up price for suckers.

Like it or not. BC is a Ponzi scheme. In fact all crypto currency is.

It has never crashed because the sheer fact that no govt or anyone can regulate it not close it.

It will forever be in a up and down and repeat the cycle again. Just a matter of who is holding on to it when the music stops.

in dec 2019, bitcoin crashed until only 3k
remember that time the whole EDMW was saying WLWLSMDWL?
there was tons of threads in EDMW about 3k bitcoin will continue to go down until zero

then what happens after that?
today's crash cant even compare to dec 2019 crash

Crypto will never crash because human greed will never cease.

for those who dabble in it will always believe the price will always go up.

the whales will always create some winners out of this to create the belief that crypto is real.

and it’s really the perfect tool for rouge countries under sanctions to move their assets.

Recent crash is just the beginning. Just 1 famous person's words can wipe trillions off the value.

Once the value reach 0, those who pump all in and left holding the useless virtual coins will be left with nothing. Even monopoly money is worth more.

Cryptocurrency is not backed by government or physical assets. Once more governments ban it, it will be worthless. Once quantum computing is launched, all cryptocurrency wallets can be cracked easily.

It's not a matter of if, but when it will crash.

If want to invest, invest in tried and tested markets like STI. STI rally strongly and already bounced back to pre covid-19 levels.
If you truly believe it will go to 0, why not short BTC now? Sure huat right? :s13:

Its not common knowledge that crypto will bleed on weekend and recover on weekdays? 4 days ago was 42k, which is a sign of recovery

U need "hoo ha" news usually for BTC to jack up the price.
In 2017~2018 range there were lot hoo ha with media on BTC, got a lot of people to notice it and the price jacked up, and later went down.
As for the 3k range.. it hanged up n down for quite sometime, till Elon made a hoo ha and the price once again went up.
In short, u need someone to 'manipulate' it, if not is just going to go down, or up n down a bit.

Not exactly.

Every ponzi schemes have a mastermind or an unscrupulous entity operating it and keeps finding for suckers to buy into it with lies and false promises of returns, and keep pushing new suckers to find more new suckers to buy into it, until the masterminds run road, and the entire scheme collapse.

Cryptos on the other hand, is willing buyer, willing seller. There is no centralized evil black hand operating or profiteering from it all.
I repeat, everyone is a willing buyer, willing seller. You don't desperately go find and lure more new buyers to fuel your initial investments in cryptos. No one is pushing you to buy-in, no one promised you any guaranteed returns. Everyone is in, or out, on their own choice and own will.

That is the difference between Cryptos and Ponzi schemes. ;)

Like that all stocks and shares are Ponzi schemes too. Those that get in early also sell to those who get in later at higher price

all companies giving dividends also Ponzi scheme cuz you must buy and hold the stock and hope others buy in as well so you can receive more dividends

fcking hypocrite
