Several roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from midnight to 5am on Friday (Mar 27) for Mr Lee Kuan Yew's state funeral procession rehearsal.

Stretches of South Bridge Road and North Bridge Road will be affected, spanning from Upper Circular Road to Coleman Street. Another stretch along High Street and Parliament Place will also be affected, between Hill Street in the direction of North Bridge Road and Supreme Court Lane. Only police and emergency vehicles will be granted access.

Traffic Police have warned motorists to expect delays and advise the public heading towards Parliament House to take public transport. They added that officers will be stationed at all affected road junctions to direct traffic, and that parking restrictions along peripheral roads will be strictly enforced.

Mr Lee's state funeral will take place on Sunday. More details on the procession are available here.

The reason why queue and wait is so long bcoz
• Security checks and scanning.
• some ppl will bow too long..and stand there.
you should be bow quickly and move.
Do not linger there.
• Queue Jumpers (see one....scold one)
