The new curved 4K UHD OLED 55EG960T is now available at major retail stores at RRP $6,999.

Saw it in Tampines Mall Courts. Unfortunately no promotions from LG or Courts for this new model.

If you have the moolah, and want to get a 55'' 4K UHD TV, this is the best you can get right now.

Otherwise, go for the cheaper FHD OLED 55EC930T option.
4K OLED way out of my budget... Hopefully the 55ec930t will do well for now at least...

My last kuro plasma tv last 6years, happy with it

I don't have any experience with plasma, been watching LED/LCD so far.. And not very good ones, I might add.. Current one is a 32 inch full HD Akira.. I am guessing the jump will be quite significant.. :)

Anyone got the free LG tablet from buying their LG TV recently?
Can I check what model it will be?

Anyone interested in trading it with LG Music flow speakers,if you have no use for the tablet.

It must be brand new and sealed as well.

They told me the earliest date they can deliver is 17/8.
Mine came and installed yesterday.. I was thinking the wall mounting would be like those old wall mounts used for LCD TVs. Two long bars on either side, VESA mount I think it is called... Instead, they put a tiny bar horizontally near the top center on the wall and literally hung the TV off it! Freaky! The guy said this is enough for OLED TVs.. its called slim wall mount..

Anyway, of course the TV looks gorgeous.. I am having some difficulty connecting my Logitech Z906 speakers though, probably I need to buy some optical audio cable or something.. Anyone had such problems while using external speakers? Thanks!

your TV does not support dolby digital 5.1 Channel
when connecting to Logitech Z906, you can get sound from front 2 speakers
but not the back two cos your LG oled tv only output PCM audio

Hmm.. I did manage to connect my speakers in the end.. Tried both the headphone jack on the side and finally an optical cable. In both cases, all my 5 speakers and the woofer are working fine.. I am sticking with the optical cable for now...

The TV is still putting out only PCM, but I guess the speaker is just routing it to all the speakers.. This means that it is not true 5.1 in the sense that if there was a sound that is supposed to come out only from one side speaker, then it wouldn't happen.. It will come from all speakers.. I am just speculating at this point, probably need to do more test to ascertain this one...

Just gt my set installed, i tested on a total black image, and saw white light bleeding from the left screen as well as some weird white bleeds on the other area, when viewing videos on certain dark scenes, can spot the white bleed as well, quite distracting, source is from hdmi pc. Tonight will replace hdmi cable and try again. This set comes with 1 or 2 remote controller?

That is good to know Bro! Even I got worried.. today is the last day for 1 to 1 exchange in case there is any problem with my TV... So hopefully nothing comes up after today.. :)

Can anyone advise me on the proper picture settings for this TV (EC930T)... I cannot seem to get the best setting for color, sharpness, contrast, etc. Are you guys using one of the Presets like Cinema, game or something? Also I remember seeing something about the trumotion setting... But I cannot find that comment now.. Can anyone advise on that? Thanks Guys! :)

Use digital cable.

I connect it to my Denon receiver, but there is a slight delay in sound when playing youtube videos.

Anyone knows how to solve?

I did try this setting, however i noticed some subtle white areas on a full black image, i think some setting need to tweak to solve the issue but overall this setting is pretty good, good black with good saturation.

My LG logo light does not turn off when I switch off the main power. Sometimes it stay on for 5-10 minutes and then the lights turn off.

Sometimes, the logo light cut off immediately with the tic-tak sound when I off the main power switch. Anyone here got the same problem as me?
